About the textbook#
Ganita Manjari is the new NCERT Class 9 Maths textbook, published in two parts: Part I (chapters 1–8) and Part II (chapters 9–14). Besides the exercise sets inside each chapter, most chapters end with a longer set of end-of-chapter exercises, including puzzles, proofs and guesstimates. All 487 questions are solved here.
How the solutions are written#
- Every question is copied in full, so you can follow it without the textbook open.
- Each step says why before it shows the working, one line at a time.
- Figures, graphs and diagrams are drawn wherever a question needs them.
- Where the NCERT book has a misprint, the solution points it out instead of silently changing the question.
